In government crash tests, Durango received four of a possible five stars overall, with a total of four stars for safety frontal impact protection and five stars for side-impact total. Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) awarded Durango highest score of “Good” in the moderate-overlap frontal-offset, side-impact and roof strength crash tests. Design seat / head restraint Durango was also rated “Good” by IIHS rear impact whiplash protection, and large SUVs Dodge middle ranks “Advanced” for the prevention of frontal crash when equipped with the technology package.
2015 Dodge Durango – Interior Design and Special Features
Modern and functional, cabin 2015 Dodge Durango is prominent in this class. Regardless of trim level, attractive design and features top grade materials that deliver uncommon elegance. This is not only predictable soft touch surface on the front, either; Durango even provide flexible outboard armrests for the third row passengers, while the competitors usually serve up cheap hard plastic.
The 8.4-inch touchscreen display that comes standard on most Durangos attractive and easy to use, featuring a large virtual buttons and a fast response time. This is one of the best interface in the market, and the Uconnect system that provides improved integration of smartphone applications, the ability of text-to-speech to text messaging and advanced voice control. Another highlight gauge cluster, with a 7-inch high-resolution display information configured flanked by analog gauges on both sides.
Durango front seats are spacious and comfortable, and there is plenty of support and cushioning in the second row, too, with reclining seatbacks to make the trip even better. The second-row captain’s chairs optional, they‘re almost as accommodating as the front seats. Access to the third row requires a moderate squeeze past the middle seat, even with folding captain’s chairs and roughness, but it is not heavier than other SUVs in this class. The third-row seats that limit for adults, but also suitable for smaller passenger, as was the norm in this segment.
With the second and third row seats folded down, Durango can carry up to 84.5 cubic feet of cargo. This is a respectable number, but competing large SUVs such as the Chevy Traverse crossover and the Mazda CX-9 offers a much more maximum cargo space. There is plenty of space behind the second row seats, however, with area measuring 47.7 cubic feet healthy.
2015 Dodge Durango – driving Impressions
Much thanks to light steering effort, 2015 Dodge Durango was relatively maneuverable at low speeds for large vehicles. Unfortunately the steering remains light at higher speeds, as well, which means feeling somewhat disconnected when you negotiate a detour mountain. Durango is also polite as other SUVs in this condition, not only because of the confidence-inspiring as you might think given the sporty Dodge brand image.
Although Durango smooth and quiet at highway speeds, we have found the ride to be somewhat jarring broken pavement. Competitors such as Highlander and Ford Explorer are quieter when going gets rough. When it gets really rough, however, Durango V8 offers a true 4WD system with low-range gearing, and it is something that a car-based crossover rivals can not say.
Low-end torque V6 is not my strong suit, but after moving to Durango, attractive machine polite, if a little noisy. Midrange acceleration is fine for passing and merging, and the eight-speed automatic transmission is at the ready with timely downshifts. Not surprisingly, the V8 gives a more authoritative responses, along with satisfying the exhaust note when temptation gets the better of you.

2015 Volkswagen Tiguan Full Reviews – Some of the features that set a standard for the entire 2015 Tiguan lineup, including a rearview camera, a 5-inch touch screen, the Mobile-Net Volkswagen and cable connected iPod. In addition, entry-level Tiguan S loses manual transmission, while the model R-Line gets a new rear bumper.
2015 Volkswagen Tiguan Full Reviews – introduction
2015 Volkswagen Tiguan is past due for a full redesign, but this does not happen to be one of the small crossover SUV that is aging quite well. As you would expect from Volkswagen, Tiguan managed to bridge the gap between mainstream and upscale. True, the cost of a little more than a small crossover everyday, but in return you get a performance above average and repair, along with a number of exclusivity.
One thing you definitely do not need to update this drive is the way VW. “Ho-hum” does not translate into German, apparently, because punchy turbocharged four-cylinder engine Tiguan will make you fully aware of the activities in the morning. The interior design and materials also are visible sores on top of what you get in the main rivals, and a smooth journey and consists apart from the tense popping R-Line.
That said, a lot of newer games or the best compact crossover Tiguan. 2015 Mazda CX-5 is a very good all-arounder same fun to drive and also offers high-quality interior. We also like the 2015 Ford Escape for nimble road manners, turbocharged engine and a strong leading-edge technology. The fresh 2015 Honda CR-V, meanwhile, will not be as fun to drive but has utility and value to science. In particular, all bids above the cargo space is significantly more than the Tiguan, too. But if you‘re looking for an upscale, European character of the small crossover SUV, 2015 Tiguan is certainly worth a look.
Entry-level S comes standard with 16-inch alloy wheels, heated side mirrors, roof rails, trailer-hitch preparation, cruise control, air conditioning, full electric accessories, cloth upholstery, a leather-wrapped tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, a shift knob wrapped in leather, front seats with eight-way manual adjustable lumbar, rear seat 40/20/40 split-folding, fore and aft sliding and reclining for rear seatbacks, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, 5-inch touchscreen interface and an audio system with eight speakers satellite radio, six-CD changer, SD card- slot, audio auxiliary jack and iPod cable.
SE adds 17-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, leatherette (vinyl premium) seats and power-reclining function for the driver’s seat.
SE with slick appearance adds 18-inch wheels, fog lights, chrome exterior trim, panoramic sunroof, keyless entry and ignition and power recline for passenger seat.
SEL adds a navigation system, Fender premium audio system and automatic climate control dual-zone.
At the top of the food chain Tiguan, R-Line trim throws in 19-inch wheels, adaptive xenon headlights, LED running lights, a sport-tuned suspension, sport body kit, automatic wipers, power side mirrors fold, leather upholstery, seat full power forward (with the power driver lumbar), driver memory settings, special interior accents and auto-dimming rearview mirror.
2015 Volkswagen Tiguan Full Reviews – Powertrains and Performance
2015 Volkswagen Tiguan employs a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that produces 200 horsepower and 207 pound-feet of torque. A standard six-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available for each trim level Tiguan.
In Edmunds performance testing, a front-wheel-drive Tiguan with automatic transmission accelerated from zero to 60 mph in 7.5 seconds, the time is fast enough for a compact crossover.
EPA-estimated fuel for front-wheel-drive Tiguan is 23 mpg combined (21 city / 26 highway), while the all-wheel-drive models also achieve 23 mpg combined (20 city / 26 highway). It was underwhelming compared to the current four-cylinder compact crossover, though the Tiguan does not serve up more power than most.
2015 Volkswagen Tiguan – safety
2015 Volkswagen Tiguan comes standard with traction and stability control, antilock disc brakes, front side airbags and full-length side curtain airbags. A rearview camera is also standard, but parking sensors are not available. Car telematics-Net system is included with each Tiguan VW and provide automatic notification of an accident, remote vehicle access, stolen vehicle location and geo-fencing (which allows parents to set boundaries for teen drivers). A-Net Mobile smartphone application allows the owner to control many functions anywhere.
In government crash tests, the Tiguan collect four of a possible five stars overall, with a total of three stars for front impact protection and five stars for side impact protection in total. Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gives the Tiguan top ranks of “Good” in the moderate-overlap frontal-offset, side-impact and roof strength crash tests, but in the frontal-offset test small new overlap, Tiguan received the rating “Marginal” (the second worst four).
In Edmunds brake testing, a Tiguan R-Line stops from 60 mph in 130 feet, which is slightly longer than the average yield for the class.
Interior Design and Special Features
Compared with other small crossover, 2015 Tiguan swimming against the current with a smooth, sophisticated interior that looks and feels the first level. You sit pleasingly high and upright in the front seat of the company, and all models are now equipped with rear camera display via touchscreen interface standard. Tiguan not get on the bandwagon big screen, however, like the humble 5-inch screen looks sized by today’s standards. Basic graphics that do not really give of contemporary vibe, good.
Legroom in the back seat can feel a bit stuck with tall people in front, but most occupants will find plenty of headroom, and the seatbacks recline and 6 inches of travel front and rear seats help maximize space. Rear seatbacks 40/20/40-split-folding useful allowing passengers to occupy two outboard seats while longer items resting in the middle of the folded.
With the rear seats upright but slid fully forward, the cargo area of the Tiguan can accommodate 23.8 cubic feet, while the rear seatbacks fold down to create 56.1 cubic feet of cargo space. It was far in what most rivals offer, such as 70-plus cubic feet CR-V and Toyota RAV4 and even 65 cubic feet CX-5.
2015 Volkswagen Tiguan Full Reviews – driving Impressions
We were impressed with the 200-hp turbocharged four-cylinder 2015 Volkswagen Tiguan it. It is strong in almost every situation, and six-speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly and quickly. Standard Tiguan is not too sporty when you are driving around the turn, because it is mainly about comfort, but still there are a lot of tranquility, is amazing considering how smooth and quiet VW rose. The R-Line disorder that equilibrium slightly, thanks to a firmer suspension tuning and larger wheels that sends additional impact harshness into the cabin. In general, though, the Tiguan provide a pleasant driving experience.

Full Reviews 2015 Ford F-150 – In the face of new models of full-size pickup than its main competitor, Ford thought it was necessary to do some radical rethinking of the 13th generation of America‘s best-selling line of full-size trucks. And, from early indications, it looks like the company has managed to do just that with the 2015 Ford F-150.
You will not know how radically new F-150 just by looking at it. In a nod to the conservative tastes of many pickup buyers, Ford kept fairly subtle styling changes. The grille restyled and distinctive shaped lamp is the most obvious visual clue that you‘re looking at an all-new truck.
Conversely, a very big change that is mostly hidden from view. Ford engineers have made extensive use of lightweight aluminum in everything from the hood and body panels for the pickup bed to help shave off up to 700 pounds of weight in the process. Lest you think the aluminum is synonymous with beer cans thin, Ford said that the military grade alloy used on the F-150 comes in a variety of different thicknesses, which can be much harder than steel at a fraction of the weight. Underlying it all is a full-reinforced ladder frame that uses a significantly higher strength steel than the outgoing model.
Advantages of shedding weight doubled. For a given GVWR (gross vehicle weight rating), a light truck can handle more payload. The same relationship applies to the GCWR (gross combined weight rating) and towing capacity. And a significantly lighter truck will accelerate faster and burn less fuel. Ford says efficiency is very good with a turbocharged EcoBoost truck engine new 2.7-liter V6 that can compete with the F-150 class rank EcoDiesel leading model Ram 1500s EPA. Of course, Ford is looking to keep the bragging rights of a traditional truck as well, and he said well-equipped F-150 will be able to withdraw up to £ 12,200 with a 3.5-liter turbo V6.
Ford also has the latest F-150 is packed with even more advanced technology. There is an abundance of video cameras, including a trailer hitch assist version that has a dynamic guide lines to make the line up hitch ball and trailer coupling quick work of a single person, as well as 360-degree top-down camera systems are available to assist with navigating the parking lot and the location of the job. Other amenities include a new 8-inch “productivity” screen in the gauge cluster and a number of new safety features, including lane-keeping assist and adaptive cruise control.
With a seemingly endless number of permutations, there may be a 2015 F-150 models to suit every person who has ever even think of buying a pickup. Just the same, there are other trucks that would be advisable to check. We also really like the 2015 Ram 1500, which will make you with a smooth ride, quiet interior and diesel engines are available. You can not discount the 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 good, considering the well-rounded nature. Both are great trucks, but we think the redesigned 2015 Ford F-150 had a significant enough improvement to make it a very attractive option for buyers. Bottom line: If you‘re looking for a full-size pickup is completely modern in 2015, Ford has just made your decision that much more difficult.

Advanced security technology including advanced collision warning preparation (it primes the brakes for maximum effectiveness), lane departure warning system and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross traffic. 2015 Ford F-150 – Interior Design and Special Features
There is a clear trend in the workplace in the pickup world: traditional workhorses turn this into something more akin to a gussied-up horse show. Of course, work truck buyers can still get a bare-bones XL models equipped with vinyl floor coverings, window roll-up and a stereo AM / FM simple. But the further you go through the levels of trim, nicer furnishings and facilities become more desirable. The new F-150’s interior has a classy look and feel, and the materials used in their top trim levels are on par with many top-class sedan. Everything is ergonomically designed so that no padded armrest right where you want it, and frequently used controls located right where your hand will instinctively reach for it.
In front of the measuring device, available 8-inch productivity screen can be customized to display an array of user-selected variables other than off-roading info for tire pressure. Ford has also added the center stack layout is refreshingly intuitive control with the volume buttons and the physical and logical radio station preset tuning arranged on the same buttons and old-school buttons for the climate control system. This can make it seem like there are a lot of buttons, but this redundancy should alleviate any concerns you may have regarding the operation otherwise useful MyFord Touch touchscreen interface that is available on the upper trim levels.
The front seat offers a commanding view and good comfort, especially the 10-way power-adjustable models with built-in heating and ventilation are found in the upper trim levels. Rear-seat passengers in the model of the cabin crew do not get a lot of extra head or legroom in the redesign, but the fact that the taxi is 2 inches wider this year means that everyone has a little more room to spread out.
There is enough storage available, whether you choose a standard 40/20/40 split front seat with drawers built into the center of the folded-down, or front bucket seats separated by a center console large enough. The rear seats in both the extended and crew cab models flip up to reveal hidden storage for valuable tools or toys.
2015 Ford F-150 – Driving Impressions
One of the first things you notice when driving the 2015 Ford F-150 is that it actually feels lighter, more agile and less-trucklike, you might say, than its predecessor. With a turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 under the hood, there are plenty of acceleration on tap and the brakes felt strong and solid. But if you want to upgrade, turbocharged V6 V8 and larger feel powerful enough to light the F-150.
Ride quality is relatively strong, which can be attributed to the lightweight body of new F-150 and higher payload allows; the difference between empty and fully loaded has widened, so that the rear suspension calibration is required to carry the load can create an empty F-150 feels a bit tied. However, the F-150 is a solid and predictable when driving around the turn and quiet on long highway drives as well.

If it is the coupelike styling that grabs you (and you do not essentially suppose you will use the X6’s 8-plus inches of ground clearance), cars like the Audi A7 and even BMW’s own five Series grandma Turismo have all-wheel drive and similar-sized interiors while not all the X6’s further bulk.
2015 BMW X6 – Body designs, Trim Levels, and choices

For 2015, the X6 sDrive three5i and xDrive35i have a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine that develops three hundred H.P. and three hundred pound-feet of force. Rear-wheel drive is customary for the sDrive 35i, and all-wheel drive is customary for the xDrive 35i. each models use associate degree eight-speed transmission. BMW says either six-cylinder X6 can accelerate from zero to sixty mph in a very brisk vi seconds, whereas EPA-estimated fuel economy is twenty two mpg combined (19 city/27 highway) for the sDrive 35i and twenty one mpg combined (18 city/27 highway) for the xDrive 35i.
The 2015 X6 xDrive50i gets a four.4-liter turbocharged V8 engine that produces 445 H.P. and 480 lb-ft of force. victimization an equivalent eight-speed transmission because the six-cylinder X6 models, the V8-motivated X6 can hit sixty mph in a very claimed four.6 seconds. Fuel economy is 17 mpg combined (15/22).
Every 2015 BMW X6 includes stability and traction management, antilock brakes, automatic brake drying, front aspect airbags and aspect curtain airbags. additionally customary is that the BMW Assist emergency communications system, that provides automatic crash notification, taken vehicle recovery and on-demand edge help.
Other safety options that area unit nonmandatory or customary (depending on the trim level) embody a rearview camera, blind-spot and lane-departure warning systems, a forward collision warning and mitigation system with pedestrian detection, sideview and around-view parking cameras and a night-vision system.
2015 BMW X6 – Interior style and Special options
The X6’s interior has continually been a powerful suit, and also the redesigned cabin for 2015 is even nicer than before. With a Jumbotron-sized ten.2-inch screen positioned at the highest of the middle dash, associate degree all-new electronic gauge cluster and rich-looking upholstery and trim throughout, BMW hasn’t cut any corners once in here. The slick and engaging iDrive interface works well for dominant and adjusting all of the X6’s systems, tho’ in our expertise it generally takes a couple of additional clicks and twists of the management knob to urge what you want; some rival systems area unit easier to use.
Front-seat passengers can welcome each the X6’s exclusive soft knee bracing on the middle console (a feature the X5 does not have) and also the deep door pockets for outsize drink bottles and different provides. maybe additional vital is that the further legroom and headroom within the backseat, that currently seats 3 across within the customary configuration. The previous X6’s rear seat was notoriously cozy, however 6-footers are going to be willing to sit down back here for extended visits within the 2015 BMW X6. Still, in associate degree SUV that nears six figures with choices, we’d wish to have rear seats that may recline, too.
But the additional traveller area comes at the expense of the X6’s already insufficient enclosure. Last year’s X6 offered twenty five.6 three-dimensional feet of shipment volume behind its rear seats; currently it’s right down to a meager twenty.5 three-dimensional feet. Drop the rear seatbacks and there area unit simply fifty three.9 cubes. For perspective, Porsche’s Cayenne, itself not the foremost large crossover around, contains a most shipment capability of sixty two.9 three-dimensional feet. On the upper side, the 40/20/40-split rear seatbacks provides you the pliability to seat a traveller or 2 whereas transport longer things.
2015 BMW X6 – Driving Impressions
Here’s wherever all the compromises of the X6 style soften away. BMW’s insistence on performance suspension calibration and high-end hardware make sure the 2015 BMW X6 feels additional sort of a taut sport sedan than an oversized, high-riding crossover. Handling and steering area unit startlingly acute for a vehicle that weighs a pair of.5 tons. Of course, if you begin attempting to form serious time on a difficult back road, you will quickly understand the X6 is neither tiny nor light-weight.
However, your sense of the 2015 X6’s right smart size can quickly be erased by the sensible performance from each the inline six-cylinder and V8 engines. The traditionally snappy turbocharged six-cylinder ought to be enough for many, particularly since the steep premium for the X6 xDrive 50i is due nearly entirely to the engine underneath the hood. Then again, what associate degree engine: Plant the throttle on associate degree open road and it looks the four.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 would not be out of place in a very locomotive, because it propels the X6 with expert notwithstanding the driving state of affairs.

2015 Mercedes-Benz M-Class – Interior Design and Special Features
2015 Mercedes-Benz M-Class features an interior that complements the understated exterior styling control. The dashboard is almost identical to the larger GL-Class, underlining the fact that the M and GL fundamentally different portions of the same dish.
If you are OK with only two rows of seating, save money and get the M-Class; If you need three rows, bring enough cash for the GL-Class. However, rival midsize luxury crossovers like the Acura MDX or BMW X5 offers a choice of seating seven passengers in a package the same size as the M-Class.
To his credit, though, M offers spacious accommodation for five and provide more second row leg room than most competitors do. Sized cargo capacity of 38.2 cubic feet behind the rear seats and 80 cubes with the rear seatbacks folded flat: a solid figure for this class.
Quality materials in the M-Class is a terrific, ranks right up there with the luxury SUV on the market. The standard COMAND knob-based interface works better than most systems the like, provides a number of user-friendly speech redundancy between the control knob, dashboard buttons and control wheel.
Standard V6 petrol engine 2015 M-Class’ gets quite nippy if you are willing to take it to redline, but it can feel a little pokey acceleration in normal driving conditions. That is why the ML250 BlueTEC diesel version is a win-win proposition: It provides enough boost that can be used in everyday passing and merging maneuvers along with superior fuel economy. As for the other, more powerful model, the ML400 is really fast, while the ML63 just nuts. If ripping acceleration is a must, have never gotten Benz SUV for you.
From the driver’s seat, the feel of the brakes inspire confidence, and it is corroborated by our own testing: The M-Class is one of the shortest-stopping SUV we’ve ever tested. Ride quality is exemplary, isolating occupants from both the street and noise impacts; it is reason alone to buy this Benz. On winding roads, however, a model of non-AMG M-Class feels soft and out of sorts around the turn, and the steering is good without feeling and too light in the effort. Translation: This is not a sporty SUV. The ML63 AMG, meanwhile, gives a much more capable of handling but ultimately boring.

2015 BMW X4 Full Reviews – 2015 BMW X4 is the answer to question two brands that no one really asked. First comes the X6, a large, squat Crossover with coupelike lines. This odd duck has the bulk and weight of SUV cargo capacity combined relatively modest and limited rear seat space sports coupe. The company deserve to call this type of new vehicle “sport-activity coupe.” Now there are 2015 X4 which gives the same theme, only in a smaller, more affordable and slightly more sensible package.
X4 share a basic platform with the BMW X3 compact crossover, but sits 1.5 inches lower and wider. A long hood, short overhangs and a fastback style roof line gives X4 dynamic stance. Whether you choose a four or six-cylinder turbocharged engine, you will get better performance sport coupe spirit of sport. Even the turbo-4 will be the hustle rig this up to 60 mph in about 6 seconds while still earning an impressive EPA-estimated 23 mpg combined. Handling capability, while certainly not as sharp as the sport coupe, still have athletic enough to satisfy most people.
But when asked to play a more practical, the 2015 BMW X4 is expected to show up a little short. Although technically a five-passenger vehicle, over a four-seater X4, three in the back seat will be tight. Also, approximately 18 cubic feet of cargo capacity behind the seats priced about 10 cubes less than in X3, a price to be paid (along with less headroom) to the sleek, wind-swept roofline. However, it’s more space than you will find in the trunk of most sedans, and of course you can always fold the rear seats down to significantly more space.
Although X4 may have some BMW showroom visitors scratching their heads and raised their eyebrows when they check the X3 and X5, there must be something wrong with offering additional options. Although we will be quick to recommend the first compact crossover that is more conventional and practical, they are put pizzazz on practicality may want to consider X4. As expected, the competition in this particular segment is minimal, with the 2015 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque be the most direct competitor in terms of performance, price and similarly themed styling. Although the two have been getting Edmunds “B”, in this two-horse race we have to give the edge to the Bimmer for greater performance and improved.

In Edmunds test track, a 28i X4 ran to 60 mph in 6.3 seconds is fast enough for entry-level trim. BMW claims 35i X4 requires only 5.2 seconds to reach 60.
As far as fuel economy goes, 28i gets EPA estimates of 23 mpg combined (20 city / 28 highway). It achieves an impressive 28.1 mpg in mixed driving Edmunds fuel economy route evaluation. 35i, meanwhile, matched with an efficiency that is almost at 22 mpg combined (19 city / 27 highway). All X4S comes with an automatic stop-start function that shuts down the engine when you stop to save fuel.
Standard safety equipment on the 2015 BMW X4 includes antilock disc brakes, traction and stability control, front seat side airbags and full-length side curtain airbags. Also standard BMW Assist eCall, which includes automatic collision notification and emergency assistance button.
Optional safety equipment includes front and rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, top-view camera and lane departure / frontal collision warning system.
During Edmunds testing, an X4 xDrive 28i stopped from 60 mph in 122 feet, the average performance for a midsize luxury crossover.
Interior Design and Special Features
X4 front compartment has a rather intimate design, with a wide center console make for a sporty, dual-cockpit feel. Overall, there is a classy atmosphere in X4, with top-notch materials throughout and an attractive metal and / or wood accents sprinkled about. The sports seats that come with the M Sport package well-supported, firmly supported and comfortable on long trips. The rear seats are shaped well for two people, but a higher headroom for passengers can be tight due to the sloping roof line. This last gesture design also contributes to compromised visibility to the rear. As such, we highly recommend springing for the driver assistance package, as it includes parking sensors and a rearview camera.
Encased in an optional navigation system is a suite of smartphone-connected applications including Pandora, TuneIn and Amazon cloud player. Controlling it all is the iDrive infotainment controller, which includes a touchpad for navigation and character input letters. While iDrive responds quickly to commands, we have found it often takes a few clicks and a spin button to access the desired functionality compared to some other rivals interface.
For cargo-carrying duty, X4 offers nearly 18 cubic feet of storage behind the rear seats, or 49.4 cubic feet when folded. It is both much less than in most other luxury compact crossover. It was a split rear bench seat as if three passengers and folds in 40/20/40 versatile configuration. A power tailgate comes standard and can be equipped with hands-free features that open when you swipe your foot under the bumper.
2015 BMW X4 – Driving Impressions
Do scramble with downtown traffic or running an on-ramp to merge into fast-moving freeway, X4 xDrive 28i impressive. Coupled to a smooth-shifting automatic, and at that point, “basic” turbo-4 packs a punch that makes you wonder if there is a typo when BMW composed specification sheet. Really, it is not necessary to choose a more expensive turbo-6 in X4 xDrive 35i, given turbo-4 is vibrant and delicate nature. But either way, you can not go wrong.
Driving enthusiasts expect sharp handling of X4 may be disappointed, however. Pressing hard on curvy roads, X4 has a slimmer body than we expected from BMW. Dynamic X4 is not as light on the feet as the other BMW SUVs, but still must provide enough exercise for most people, because of a change of direction with confidence and boast a controlled yet compliant ride over broken pavement. Out on the open road, X4 easily and quietly devouring miles, making it a good choice for long road trips.

Full Reviews 2015 Lexus CT 200h – Although there are no major changes for the 2015 Lexus CT 200h, it can not be Siri Eyes Free function and additional voice commands for the navigation system are available.
2015 Lexus CT 200h – introduction
Are you someone who wants a car that is quite stylish upscale to impress your friends and co-workers, but also one that is practical enough to keep up with an active lifestyle and environmentally friendly enough to allow you to go to sleep at night with a conscience the net? Well, you might have come to the right vehicle reviews because that’s what the 2015 Lexus CT 200h is meant to be.
This compact luxury hatchback has been around for a while now, but it still manages to be fairly typical. The combination of the CT 200h is an interesting styling and top-class facilities are attractive, while the four-door hatchback body style utilitarian can accommodate a wider variety of cargo from the average sedan. What really sets apart the CT 200h luxury hybrid luxury or other vehicle, however, is that the gasoline-electric hybrid powertrain fuel efficient giving an EPA fuel economy rating of 42 mpg impressive combined.
The CT 200h‘s back looks athletic with crisp handling that makes it feel a good bit more agile than many hybrid models. Unfortunately, sporty style car ended up writing a check hybrid powertrain can not cash. With only 134 horsepower available, the CT 200h is not faster than the Toyota Prius and is sorely lacking in the performance department thrilling. Also keep in mind that, while folding down the rear seats to create a flexible cargo space, the interior is not exactly a cave by the standards of modern compact crossover.
With those shortcomings in mind, the buyer may want to consider another vehicle that may suit the trifecta of good wishes. Although much more expensive, the 2015 BMW 328d wagon is much more satisfying car to drive and still provide excellent fuel economy thanks to its diesel engine fuel. At the other end of the price spectrum, 2015 Ford C-Max Hybrid and the new 2015 Volkswagen Golf TDI Sportwagen cheaper, yet still provide a lot of the same experience as the Lexus (and faster to boot).
All things considered, the 2015 Lexus CT 200h is pleasant enough, but it’s only by taking a test-drive that you will really know if you can live with modest performance.

Powertrains and Performance

The total output of 134 hp, which is transmitted to the front wheels through a specialized continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT).
In Edmunds testing, the CT 200h accelerated from zero to 60 mph in 10.4 seconds slower. Fuel economy is where the CT 200h shines, however, the EPA estimated 42 mpg in combined driving (43 city / 40 highway).

Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the CT 200h Highest rated “Good” in the moderate-overlap frontal-offset, side-impact and roof strength tests. Head restraint / seat design, which also received “Good” rating for rear impact whiplash protection.
Interior Design and Special Features
With an emphasis on environmentally friendly 2015 Lexus CT 200h interior does not have quite the same luxury feel of traditional luxury model Lexus has built its reputation on. In place of the usual soft leather and gleaming wood trim, passenger cabin is a hybrid incorporating recycled materials and sustainable sources wherever possible. That said, the cabin still has a premium look that sets it apart from many hybrids more mainstream.
For the most part, gauges and controls are well placed and intuitive to use. The sole exception would be a laptop track pad as a remote touch system which is used to make selections on the screen big center (included in the Display Audio and navigation package option), which are often too sensitive to be used quickly. In the end, it’s a smart idea, but ended up being more frustrating than it’s worth.
In front, the seats are comfortable and well-supported to feel sporty. The rear seats also have a decent head and legroom for some adults, though getting passengers in and out can often be complicated by the narrow rear door openings. Storage for mobile phones and other items that you want to stay close confined to the pint-sized glovebox and door pockets. When it comes time to actually fill in for a weekend away, there is a hefty 14.3 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats, which grows to 34.8 cubic feet with them folded down. Both of these measurements are on the small side compared to similarly sized hatchback.
2015 Lexus CT 200h – Driving Impressions
What do you think of the 2015 Lexus CT 200h behind the wheel has a lot to do with your preconceived notions as well as the car itself. If a sporty attitude has led you to expect the performance of a pulse-pounding, you will be sadly disappointed. Sign expect to find a fuel-efficient car with a nimble feel and enough power to make your conversation between points A and B, however, and you might find a hybrid is becoming quite livable.
The reason behind this observation has to do with the fact that the gasoline-electric powertrain is tuned to maximize mpg than sprightly acceleration. 1.8-liter four-cylinder sound can also work when pushed hard, which is not all that fitting for a car with a Lexus badge.
Otherwise hardware hybrid CT 200h is performing admirably, by switching back and forth between a gasoline engine and an electric motor occurs so smoothly that you might not even notice. Same goes for the fuel-saving auto stop-start gasoline engine kill in situations such as waiting for the light to change, and then fire it back again immediately when it is time to withdraw.
As far as handling goes, the 2015 Lexus CT 200h feels relatively nimble in comparison with most hybrids, the quality of which is enhanced by the sharp reflexes steering hardware. Good quality journey with the basics of a standard, but may be a bit jarring with the optional suspension package F Sport tight in parts of the country where winter ravaged pavement is a disorder that is always present.

If you want a deluxe model that can handle all of these tasks and do so with a healthy dose of panache, but you will find yourself with a list of options that much less is topped by a 2015 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class.
While this shortage is going to get a big optional seven-passenger luxury SUV is a place in many lists of must-test-drive, the unique power to help stand out in the segment is small but very competitive. Taking a variety of powertrains available, for example, with everything from turbocharged diesel V6 relatively fuel-efficient all the way up to high-performance GL63 AMG model of the 550-horsepower V8. Standard all-wheel drive and 7.9 inches of ground clearance also means this deluxe truck up to handle everything from the bad winter road conditions for summer minor off-pavement forays.
Then there GL wide passenger cabin which includes an adult-sized third row seat, something that some three-row luxury SUV can claim. As you would expect from a car wearing a Mercedes-Benz three-pointed star, the range of styles available, convenience and advanced security options - including diamond-stitched leather upholstery, heated front seats and ventilated with a built-in massage and collision warning system with braking automatic - spacious. The quality of the cabin is also unbeatable in this segment.
As far as losses are concerned, the size of the GL-Class can make it feel a bit sluggish on the road, the quality is not helped any by the steering feels too light in all but the GL63 AMG. Another potential drawback is that the price can soar to heights careful once you start adding all of those options is desirable.
While the GL-Class has won our admiration, thorough buyers may still want to see some of its competitors. 2015 Lexus LX 570 is positively luxurious interior combines with a powerful V8 engine and off-road capability truly remarkable. The same can be said of the 2015 Land Rover LR4, which stands out with GL underestimate more than $ 10,000. 2015 Infiniti QX80 offers macho styling, features and user-friendly technology big V8 itself. 2015 Cadillac Escalade could also be interesting to see.
While all of these competitors are both classy and practical, ultimately we believe Edmunds “A” rated 2015 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class is the ultimate choice for a large luxury SUV that provides repair, sophistication and utility.
The GL350 BlueTEC and GL450 have different turbocharged V6 engine (a diesel, other gasoline, respectively), but the reverse is also equipped with 19-inch alloy wheels, self-leveling air suspension, automatic headlights, LED running lights, a sunroof, automatic wipers , roof rails, rear privacy glass, electric rear quarter windows and liftgate power. 2015 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class – Powertrains and Performance
2015 Mercedes-Benz GL350 BlueTec diesel is powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine rated at 240 hp and 455 pound-feet of torque. Like every other model of the GL-Class, the hotel has a seven-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. In Edmunds performance testing, the GL350 goes from zero to 60 mph in 8.4 seconds, a time which is slow compared to other vehicles in this segment. EPA-estimated fuel economy is very good, though, at 22 mpg combined (19 city / 26 highway).
GL450 gets a turbocharged 3.0-liter petrol V6 petrol that produces 362 hp new and 369 lb-ft of torque. Mercedes estimates it will go from zero to 60 mph in 6.6 seconds, which is faster than the average for the segment. Like the rest of the GL gasoline-powered siblings, this engine now includes an automatic stop-start system designed to improve fuel economy, which is a good bit better than the V8 engine to replace with an EPA rating of 19 mpg combined (17 city / 21 highway) .
GL550 is driven by a 4.6-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that pumps out 429 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. In Edmunds testing, hitting 60 mph in 5.4 seconds and return EPA estimates of 15 mpg combined (13 city / 18 highway).
Last but certainly not least is the GL63 AMG, which is equipped with a 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 rated at 550 hp and 560 lb-ft of torque. It has the AMG-tuned seven-speed automatic. EPA fuel economy numbers are dismal at 14 mpg combined (13 city / 17 highway). According to Mercedes, the AMG variant will go from zero to 60 in an impressive 4.8 seconds.
Properly equipped, all GL-Class models can tow up to 7500 pounds.
Standard safety features on the 2015 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class is equipped with ABS brakes, stability and traction control, automatic crosswind stabilization, trailer stability assist, front side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags, driver’s knee airbag, active front head restraints, a warning system front collision and the driver‘s attention / drowsiness monitor. Also standard are a rearview camera and communication systems mbrace2 which includes automatic collision notification, SOS button, stolen vehicle location, geo-fencing, alarm notification and remote door lock / unlock.
Lane Tracking Package is available (standard on the GL550, GL350 and GL450 optional) monitor the blind spot and lane drifting and alerts the driver with a wheel vibrates or emits a beep. Optional Driver Assistance Package (standard on GL63) added a collision warning with auto-braking and “active” blind spot and lane keeping assist system that can automatically guide the car back into the lane at this time if the driver fails to heed the warning system.
In Edmunds brake testing, all of the non-AMG models GL-Class was stopped from 60 mph in about 115 feet, the distance is very short for such a heavy vehicle with all-season tires.
Interior Design and Special Features
All of the above aside, the key to the appeal in 2015 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class is the passenger cabin. Although the standard MB-Tex vinyl upholstery on the GL350 and GL450 models do not seem a bit low budget to luxury vehicles, you may be hard pressed to tell it apart from the original skin of some other brands, while in general the quality of materials and construction are top-notch. Choice of four types of original wood trim and optional upgrades such as diamond quilted premium leather seating surfaces also provide a space that feels high-end look and feel.
There are more inland than just look good, though, starting with roomy accommodation adult size in all three rows. Standard front seat is quite nice, but optional “multicontour” seats with heating, ventilation and massage function is the way to go for anyone who expects to spend long stints behind the wheel.
Mercedes COMAND System trademark ‘using a console-mounted button to access a huge long list of settings and controls via a menu on the dash-mounted screen. It takes time to really get the hang of it, but ultimately elegant way to manage all these technologies without physical buttons ocean.
When it comes to transporting goods in addition to (or instead of) people, the GL-Class offers a healthy 16 cubic feet of space behind the third-row seat, an amount equal to that offered by the average middle-rod sedan. Fold down the second part of the third-row 50/50 split makes you 49.4 cubic feet, while dropping the second and third row to create 93.8 cubic feet of cargo space comparable to that in other large SUVs.
Compared with the full-size truck-based SUVs like the Cadillac Escalade, the 2015 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class certainly feels like a cut above, thanks largely seamless quality produced by the adaptive air suspension. Handling solid but a bit boring because the vehicle‘s size, weight and the steering feels too light. One bright spot is the dynamic brake GL impressive, which gives extra peace of mind with the ability to stop on par with some of the sports sedan.
When it comes to Propulsion, it’s hard to go wrong with any of the available powertrains. The diesel engine-powered GL350 is no speed demon, but it’s fine for everyday driving and, with 455 pounds-feet of torque healthy, small V6 has enough grunt to pull a good-sized trailer. 362-hp V6 petrol new GL450 must provide satisfactory acceleration with the same output as the eight-cylinder engine it replaces but fuel economy is better. 429-hp, 4.6-liter V8 GL550 has muscle to spare, making 550-hp, 5.5-liter V8 in the heart of the case of excessive GL63 AMG is thrilling.
